women in nature | taking up space

A powerful all-female art exhibition running from July 12 to August 10,  2025, that explores the deep, intrinsic connection between women and  the natural world. Curated by artist Sholo Beverly, whose name means “fire” in  Sanskrit, the show brings together large-scale works by diverse women  artists whose practices are rooted in nature, femininity, healing, and  community. Through immersive visuals, textures, and sounds, the  exhibition celebrates women's strength, creativity, and spiritual ties  to the earth, inviting viewers to reflect on their own relationship with  nature and the feminine force that sustains life.

“Flowers from Different Tribes”  by Ayala, is inspired by a real moment when a 7-year-old girl from Peru stepped in to interpret for a Mexican woman at an airport, two strangers connected  by language and ancestry. I painted them as angels in a celestial sky,  surrounded by the cantua and the dahlia, national flowers of their  homelands. In their exchange, I saw a piece of myself. This work is a  reminder of resilience amid dehumanizing forces. Rooted in Indigenous  Surrealism, I use airbrush to create ethereal spaces where pain is reimagined into healing — where my protagonists are safe, sacred, and  seen.

sacred matriarchs | Indigenous futurism

An immersive exhibition inspired by the universal desire for empowerment. As a spiritual being navigating a human experience, my vessel stems from the Andean diaspora. In this lifetime, I was born into a resilient sisterhood, and I dedicate this collection to our Mother. I explore the divine feminine in connection with detribalized descendants.

Through majestic portraits, we are transported to a realm of Indigenous futurism. Despite systemic alienation, genetic remembrance is powerful. Each piece honors an innate ancestral tradition through vibrant color and meticulous detail. The weaving of cultural themes together is a profound reminder of unity. Protagonists adorned in gold symbolize a contemporary evolution that challenges the historic erasure of inheritance. They embody the strength of generations past and create a narrative of reclaimed voices.

mujer | poder y fuerzas

(Women | Power and  Strength) is a group exhibition celebrating Women's History Month. The theme Power and Strength reflects the everyday challenges of a woman’s life and their ability to persevere beyond them. This theme was chosen as a way to remind women of their strength, while  also encouraging self-care and appreciation.
